Built from the Ground Up
Total Stormwater Solutions was born in 2014 from the dream of Daniel Donovan. He grew up learning the ins and outs of the construction industry under the guidance of his father, Mark Donovan, owner of Donovan Paving and Construction. His passion for creating and designing structures for the betterment of all led him to pursue an education in Civil Engineering. Daniel graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor's and Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
He soon became a Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Virginia. From 2012-2016, Daniel worked for Bowman Consulting as an engineer on a variety of projects across the Commonwealth and discovered a need for leading experts and consultants in the environmental stormwater industry.
Daniel drew upon his roots in construction and experience as a professional engineer and built Total Stormwater Solutions from the ground up serving clients with innovative, unique, and out-of-the-box solutions to their needs.
Total Stormwater Solutions is a Contech Certified Maintenance Provider, Fairfax County Maintenance Contractor, and holds certifications from Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, OSHA, and VDOT proudly serving the Northern Virginia community.
Our company aims to grow with their clients’ evolving and expanding needs. As the industry changes and pushes homeowners and business owner to more innovative designs, Total Stormwater Solutions will be there to guide them along.
